Privacy Policy

What Lord of the Lands collects, why, and who it is shared with. Last updated 10 July 2026.

Who we are

Lord of the Lands is a browser and Android game played at lordofthelands.com. This policy covers both the website and the Android app, which is a wrapper around the same site. Contact us any time through our contact page.

What we collect

Your account email address, the lord name and race you choose, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in readable form). We store your in-game progress: your castle, army, hero, items, resources, messages and battle history. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email and identifier only.

Payments

Membership is an optional paid subscription. Payments are handled entirely by our payment providers, Mollie on the web and Google Play Billing in the app. We never see or store your card or bank details; we only receive confirmation of your subscription status and its renewal date.

Push notifications

If you enable notifications in the Android app, we store a device notification token supplied by Google Firebase Cloud Messaging so we can send you game alerts (for example when a building finishes or you are challenged). You can turn these off any time from your Account page or your device settings; the token is removed when it is no longer valid.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are used and how the game performs, in aggregate. This helps us improve the game and is not used to identify you personally.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share only what is necessary with the service providers that make the game work: Google (Play Billing, Firebase push, Analytics, and Google sign-in) and Mollie (web payments). Each processes data only to provide their part of the service.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from your Account page, which removes your personal data and game state. You can also ask us to delete it through our contact page.

Children

Lord of the Lands is not intended for children under 13, and accounts are meant for players aged 13 and over.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated policy.

By creating and using an account, you agree to this privacy policy. See also our Terms.
